Dr. Ron Wilson
| Our Pastor, Dr. Ron Wilson, has spent 25 years in service to the Lord, pastoring churches in Texas, Georgia and Alabama. In 2001, Ron received his Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Georgia, with a major area of study and research focused on congregational leadership and administration. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas, in 1980, at which time his primary emphasis of study was church history, theology and ethics. Ron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976 from Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, with a major in religion. Ron has also done additional graduate work, studying ethics at Baylor University, Waco, Texas as well as Clinical Pastoral Education at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. As a bi-vocational pastor, Ron has also been active in the academic arena, having instructed courses at various colleges, including: Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia; Jefferson State Community College and Samford University, both of Birmingham, Alabama. Currently, in addition to pastoring Willeo, Ron is employed in Atlanta as the Director of Development for Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology as well as their College of Continuing and Professional Studies. |
